ABOUT US

Adventure Rappels was formed after meeting each other on various outings and functions at Vertical Reality. All of us have worked together for many years and have developed friendships that lead to the formation of Adventure Rappels. We want to share our experiences and knowledge with others so that they too may learn to enjoy some of our passions.

DAVID HINNERS
David has been doing rope work for the past 6 years. In 2006 he joined up with the team and has developed exceptional skills in rappelling and rope rescue. David works as an assistant instructor at W. Born & Associates. David is an IT Director at a large Cleveland, OH based manufacturing facility. David's hobbies / interests include rappeling, cave diving, backpacking / hiking, dry caving, photography and RC Helicopters.

NANCY HINNERS
Nancy has been rappelling since 2006 and joined the team in 2007. Nancy works for a Cleveland, OH based Nano Technology Company as an accounting manager. Nancy's financial and business skills are an assett to the team. Nancy's hobbies / interests are rappeling, backpacking, dry caving, knitting and cooking.

MATT PARKER
Matt is a full time firefighter that has been doing rope work for the past 4 years. Matt is an assistant instructor for W. Born & Associates. Having Matt on the team is a great asset. His expertise in rigging and rope work has helped this team grow into what it has become today. Matt's hobbies include rappeling, dry caving, backpacking / hiking.

TIM STAHL
Tim is a cave and deep technical diving instructor. He is an assistant instructor at W. Born and Associates. He joined the team in 2006 and became a great team member bringing exceptional skills. Working high and on rope is nothing new for him as he has been employed by Stahl Welding, Inc. since 1979, a crane, rigging & steel erection company in Kokomo, IN. Tim’s habit’s are working high, cave diving, back packing / hiking and dry caving.

MARCY STAHL
Marcy is an awesome scuba instructor that joined the team in 2007. She assists with groups at Vertical Reality Training Center when needed. Marcy works for Delphi as the finance manager for controls and security products in North America and South America. With a range of business, travel and rope experience along with her enthusiasm and excitement, she is a tremendous asset to us. Marcy’s hobbies / interests are rappeling, cave diving, backpacking / hiking and dry caving.
